The big deal of China and Canada/ China abandoned Iran's oil?
Changing Canada's oil flow after the US Trade War has made China the largest Canadian oil customer exported through the Trans Montein pipeline.

China's new interest in Canada's oil is seen as US President Donald Trump's trade war has strained relations between Washington and Ottawa. China's increase in oil purchases also reflects the impact of US sanctions on oil exports in countries such as Russia and Venezuela.
Canada is the fourth largest oil producer in the world, but Alberta's oil -rich province is confined to land and has limited access to ports. As a result, 5 % of Canadian oil or about four million barrels per day is exported to the United States through pipelines.
The Trans Montin Pipeline is the only East-West Oil Pipeline in Canada, transferring oil to the Pacific coast, and from there, tankers loading oil for export. The developed part of the pipeline, which began on May 1, increased the capacity of the pipeline to 4,000 barrels a day and opened opportunities for Canadian oil.
Although oil is currently exempt from US tariffs, Canada seeks to diversify export destinations due to temporary US tariffs on oil imports and Trump's threat to attach it to the US.
According to Kepler's data, Canada has sent about 6,000 barrels a day to China since the new Trans Montin pipeline transfer capacity in June. This volume shows a significant increase compared to seven thousand barrels a day in a decade leading to 2. During the same period, the United States received about 6,000 barrels a day from the pipeline.
"Trump's supportive policies in recent months have made Canada more appealing to Chinese buyers," said Philip Rayd. China is reluctant to rely on Russian energy.
Since the development of this pipeline last year, Canada's crude oil exports to other countries except the United States have grown by about 2 percent and reached a record of about 6,000 barrels a day. Other countries that received Canadian oil include South Korea, Japan, India, Brunei and Taiwan.
According to Reuters' report,Several Canadian politicians in recent months have called for the construction of new pipelines to coastal export terminals to reduce dependence on the United States, but regulatory, financial and political barriers are blocking this.
